CCSP changed on 1 August 2026
ISC2 introduced a revised CCSP outline on 1 August 2026. The current exam uses Computerized Adaptive Testing, runs for three hours, and ends between 100 and 150 items.
| Current outline | Effective 1 August 2026 |
| Delivery | Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) |
| Exam items | 100–150 |
| Time | 3 hours |
| Item format | Multiple choice and advanced item types |
| Passing grade | 700 out of 1000 points |
| Languages | English, Chinese, Japanese and German |
| Testing center | Pearson VUE |
| Standard exam fee | US $599 |
What these 100-question tests reproduce
Each practice test uses the live exam's full three-hour administration window and the minimum CAT item count of 100. The content split is fixed at 17 / 20 / 17 / 16 / 17 / 13, which converts ISC2's current weights directly into a repeatable 100-question paper.
The live CCSP exam is adaptive. These practice tests are not. A fixed paper is useful for repeated benchmarking because test 2 and test 8 do not end at different item counts simply because the adaptive engine made a different decision.
A fixed 100-question paper under the full three-hour clock
The live exam can stop at 100 items or continue to 150. Here, the item count stays fixed. That makes the blueprint repeatable from one practice test to the next.
How it's built
- 100 questions per practice test
- All six current CCSP domains
- 17 / 20 / 17 / 16 / 17 / 13 distribution
- Four answer options per question
- Single-answer and Select TWO items
- Mapped to the 2026-08-01 CCSP taxonomy
Under the clock
- 180 minutes for the full paper
- That is 108 seconds per question across 100 items
- The form stays fixed at 100 questions
- No adaptive early stop and no run to 150 items
- Use repeated full-length runs to test pacing against the same workload
What the explanations teach
- Every question in the bank carries a written explanation
- The reasoning focuses on the deciding security constraint
- Explanations go beyond the correct letter and explain the deciding security principle
- Scenario questions are tied back to the current CCSP domain and topic
See the decision point before you buy
This item comes from the current CCSP Test 1 question bank. It tests management-plane isolation and privilege separation rather than simple terminology recall.
A container orchestration platform hosts workloads for several internal product teams. Administrators want to reduce the chance that compromise of one workload leads to control of the orchestration plane. Which TWO design actions provide the BEST protection?
- AUse separate privileged administrator identities that are not shared with workload service identities
- BRestrict orchestration management APIs to a dedicated administrative network path
- CPermit workloads to reuse node administrator credentials for operational simplicity
- DAllow management APIs from the public network but rely only on application logging
Why A and B
Separating administrator identities from workload identities limits credential reuse and privilege escalation, while restricting management APIs reduces exposure of the orchestration control plane. Reusing node administrator credentials would increase blast radius, and public exposure is not made safe merely by logging. The relevant constraints are privilege separation and management-plane isolation.
Every 100-question practice test uses the same six-domain allocation
Because the current domain percentages sum cleanly to 100, each percentage becomes the exact question count in a 100-question practice paper.
| Domain | ISC2 average weight | Questions per practice test |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Cloud Concepts, Architecture and Design | 17% | 17 |
| 2. Cloud Data Security | 20% | 20 |
| 3. Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Security | 17% | 17 |
| 4. Cloud Application Security | 16% | 16 |
| 5. Cloud Security Operations | 17% | 17 |
| 6. Legal, Risk and Compliance | 13% | 13 |
Cloud Data Security gets 20 questions in every practice test, the largest allocation under the current outline.
All 10 ISC2 CCSP full-length practice tests
Each test contains 100 questions, uses a 180-minute practice window, and follows the same current six-domain distribution.
About the CCSP exam and these practice tests
The CCSP exam
How many questions are on the current CCSP exam?
The current CCSP exam uses Computerized Adaptive Testing and ends between 100 and 150 items. You get three hours. ISC2 lists multiple choice and advanced item types, with a passing grade of 700 out of 1000 points.
Which CCSP exam outline is current?
The current outline took effect on 1 August 2026. Its six weights are 17% Cloud Concepts, Architecture and Design; 20% Cloud Data Security; 17% Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Security; 16% Cloud Application Security; 17% Cloud Security Operations; and 13% Legal, Risk and Compliance.
How much does the CCSP exam cost?
ISC2 currently lists standard CCSP registration at US $599 for the Americas, Asia Pacific and other regions priced in US dollars. EMEA and UK registration is listed separately in euros and pounds.
What experience do I need for the CCSP certification?
ISC2 requires five years of cumulative full-time IT experience, including three years in cybersecurity and one year in one or more current CCSP domains. An active CISSP can substitute for the full experience requirement. A qualifying degree or the CSA CCSK can satisfy up to one year.
If I fail CCSP, when can I retake it?
After the first attempt, you can retest after 30 test-free days. After the second, the wait is 60 test-free days from the most recent attempt. After the third and later attempts, it is 90 test-free days. ISC2 allows up to four attempts within a 12-month period for each certification program.
These practice tests
Do these practice tests reproduce ISC2 CAT delivery?
No. Each practice test is a fixed 100-question paper. It matches the live exam's minimum item count, full three-hour window, current content outline and six-domain weights, but it does not adapt the next question or end early based on performance.
Do the tests include Select TWO questions?
Yes. The current CCSP question banks contain Select TWO items alongside single-answer questions, with four options per question.
Does every question include an explanation?
Yes. Every question in the current bank has a written explanation tied to the scenario, correct answer and the deciding security principle.
Can I buy one test instead of a pack?
Yes. One full-length practice test is $2₹99£1.47€1.70. Five tests are $5₹299£3.67€4.27. All ten are $9₹499£6.6€7.69.
Ten CCSP practice tests. 1,000 questions.
$9₹499£6.6€7.69
The current CCSP exam costs US $599 in regions priced in dollars. Use the full three-hour practice window before you spend that money on exam day.
