What Cisco currently publishes for 350-701 SCOR

SCOR v2.0 is the current blueprint. Cisco moved to it on 27 August 2026, with a bigger emphasis on network security, secure service edge, cloud-delivered controls, AI-era security and current product naming.

Written to the current v2.0 objectives

The old v1.1 outline is no longer the exam you book. SCOR v2.0 replaced it on 27 August 2026. The new blueprint keeps six domains, changes the weights, adds Secure Service Edge as its own domain, and brings current areas such as AI/LLM risk, post-quantum cryptography, Cisco Secure Access, Splunk, XDR and Duo into scope.

Each full-length practice test uses 100 questions because the six official weights convert cleanly to 20 / 25 / 15 / 10 / 15 / 15. That makes the practice blueprint exact without pretending Cisco publishes a fixed live-exam question count.

Passing SCOR earns the Security Core Specialist credential. It also satisfies the core exam requirement for CCNP Security and the qualifying exam requirement for CCIE Security.

Inside a practice test

Two hours, one full six-domain run

The point is to keep technical judgment working across a long paper. A 20-question set can find a weak topic. A 100-question test shows whether the whole blueprint still holds together under a 120-minute clock.

How it's built

  • 100 questions in every full-length test
  • Exact 20 / 25 / 15 / 10 / 15 / 15 domain quotas
  • 47 current SCOR v2.0 topics represented
  • Scenario-heavy professional security decisions

Under the clock

  • 120-minute practice window
  • 92 single-answer questions
  • 8 clearly marked Select TWO questions
  • Select TWO items score all-or-nothing

What the bank emphasizes

  • Current Cisco product names and v2.0 terminology
  • Implementation, troubleshooting and policy decisions
  • Plausible distractors within the same technical layer
  • Explanations that address why the keyed answer wins
Sample question

The style is scenario-first, not product-name recall

SCOR v2.0 asks you to choose a control that fits the requirement and the operating layer. This worked example targets the Secure Service Edge domain.

Domain 4.0 · Secure Service EdgeSingle answerScenario

A company is moving contractor access away from broad network VPN connectivity. Contractors need access to two private web applications, and the security team wants each connection evaluated using user identity and device context before the private application is reached. Which Cisco Secure Access capability BEST fits this requirement?

  • ASecure Internet Access for public internet destinations
  • BSecure Private Access for identity-aware access to private applications
  • CData loss prevention for outbound internet content inspection
  • DCisco Secure Endpoint isolation for the contractor devices

Why B

Secure Private Access is the part of Cisco Secure Access built for controlled access to private applications without giving the user broad network reach. Secure Internet Access protects internet-bound access instead. DLP can inspect data movement, and endpoint isolation contains a compromised host, but neither is the primary access model described here.

Domain weights

Every 100-question test maps the v2.0 percentages directly

Because the practice tests use 100 questions, the official percentages become whole-question quotas. Network Security is the largest domain at 25 questions per test.
