Written to the R82 study modules
Check Point's current exam prep guide breaks CCSA R82 into ten core modules, from Quantum Security and administrator accounts through HTTPS Inspection, Application Control, URL Filtering and Threat Prevention.
These practice tests use that R82 structure throughout. Each test has 100 questions, split evenly across the ten modules. The question bank was built for 156-215.82 rather than carried over from the retired R81.20 exam.
The real exam gives you 90 minutes for 100 questions. That works out to 54 seconds per question before review time. Full-length practice matters here because pacing becomes part of the problem.
One hundred questions changes how you answer
A short quiz checks recall. A full-length set also tests whether you can keep moving when two options look plausible and the clock is already past the halfway point.
How it's built
- 100 single-answer multiple-choice questions
- 90-minute time limit
- 10 questions from each R82 module
- Balanced easy, medium and hard questions
Under the clock
- You have 54 seconds per question on average
- Move past slow questions before they consume the test
- Leave enough time for a final review pass
- Use repeated full-length sets to make the pace normal
What you review
- Every question carries an explanation
- Track misses by module, not just by total score
- Go back to the R82 objective behind the mistake
- Use a fresh test to see whether the gap is actually fixed
A real question from the CCSA R82 bank
This one comes from Security Operations Monitoring. The trick is recognising that the problem is search scope, not infrastructure.
An analyst opens a predefined query that is close to the investigation need but includes too many results. What should the analyst do NEXT?
- ACreate a new Security Gateway because predefined queries cannot be narrowed.
- BDelete the predefined query and reinstall the Access Control policy.
- CChange the Dedicated Log Server IP address so the predefined query returns less data.
- DRefine the active query with additional criteria in the Logs view.
Why D is correct
Predefined queries are useful starting points and can be refined with additional query criteria. Rebuilding infrastructure does not address a search-scope problem.
All ten Check Point study modules in every test
Check Point's current prep guide lists ten core modules but does not assign percentage weights to them. These practice tests use ten questions per module, so every set covers the complete R82 syllabus evenly.
| Module | Official R82 study area | Questions per practice test |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Introduction to Quantum Security | 10 |
| 2 | Administrator Account Management | 10 |
| 3 | Object Management | 10 |
| 4 | Security Policy Management | 10 |
| 5 | Policy Layers | 10 |
| 6 | Security Operations Monitoring | 10 |
| 7 | Identity Awareness | 10 |
| 8 | HTTPS Inspection | 10 |
| 9 | Application Control and URL Filtering | 10 |
| 10 | Threat Prevention Fundamentals | 10 |
